Internet Protokoll basierte Kommunikationsdienste im ÖV
Das Projekt IP-KOM-ÖV
Das von Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Energie geförderte Forschungs- und Standardisierungsprojekt IP-KOM-ÖV hat in seiner 3½-jährigen Laufzeit Konzepte und Architekturen für die effiziente, standardisierte Bereitstellung individueller Fahrgastinformation erarbeitet und in VDV- Schriften überführt. Dabei werden ganz speziell drei Hauptaspekte der Fahrgastinformation beleuchtet.
Zum einen wird die Fahrzeugarchitektur durch eine moderne Dienste basierte Kommunikationsplattform auf Internetprotokollbasis ersetzt, die neben einer hohen Flexibilität für die Betreiber auch eine deutlich verbesserte Information für den Fahrgast liefert. Mit dieser Technologie sind zukünftig die Fahrzeuge, über die gängigen Multimedia-Anwendungen hinaus, in der Lage ÖV-Informationen direkt an das Kunden-Smartphone zu senden oder zu empfangen. Hierdurch soll sich der Fahrgast im ÖV noch sicherer und wohler fühlen.
Das zweite Arbeitsfeld befasste sich mit der Anbindung mobiler Endgeräte der Fahrgäste. Mit dem Ansatz über standardisierte Schnittstellen überregionale Informationen abrufen zu können, wurde auch hier eine modulare Architektur geschaffen, die neben aktiven Push-Nachrichten auch selbstlernende semantische Datenverarbeitung ermöglicht. So können verschiedene Applikationen für Smartphones mit hochwertigen ÖV-Informationen versorgt werden.
Im letzten Arbeitsfeld wurde eine Auskunftsplattform definiert, die wiederum modular und Dienste basiert aufgebaut ist. Mithilfe dieser sind erst überregionale Auskünfte möglich. Dieses Hintergrundsystem bereitet darüber hinaus alle Daten für die mobilen Kundenendgeräte auf und versorgt diese mit den gewünschten aktuellen und individuellen Echtzeitinformationen.

Internet protocol based communication services in public transport
The IP-KOM-ÖV project
The research and standardisation project IP-KOM-ÖV, funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy, has developed concepts and architectures for the efficient, standardized provision of individual passenger information over a period of 3½ years and took them to VDV requirement documents. In particular, three main aspects of passenger information are highlighted.
On the one hand, the vehicle architecture will be replaced by a modern Internet protocol-based communication platform based on modern services, which, in addition to providing a high degree of flexibility for the operators, also provides significantly improved information for the passenger. With this technology, vehicles will in future be able to send or receive public transport information directly to the customer's smartphone in addition to conventional multimedia applications. This should make passengers feel even safer and more comfortable in public transport.
The second field of work deals with the connection of mobile devices for passengers. With the approach of being able to retrieve supraregional information via standardized interfaces, a modular architecture was also created here, which enables self-learning semantic data processing in addition to active push messages. In this way, various applications for smartphones can be supplied with high-quality public transport information.
In the last field of work an information /journey planner platform was defined, which is modular and based on services. With the help of this platform, supraregional information provision is possible. In addition, this platform processes all data for the mobile customer devices and supplies them with the required current and individual real-time information.
